Designing Your Own 3D Worlds: Creative Workshop for Educators in Cologne

How do you create your own virtual spaces for teaching and educational offerings? The workshop "Creating Your Own 3D Worlds" at KOMEZ – Municipal Media Center Cologne shows educators and pedagogical staff how to develop digital content for VR headsets.

Developing Virtual Spaces Yourself

Focused on your own 3D worlds and 360-degree films, participants will learn how to plan, produce, and directly apply digital content for educational purposes. The event combines practical media education with creative event planning and modern audience engagement.

VR, 360-Degree Films, and Teaching

The production of your own content opens new perspectives for schools and pedagogical work. Virtual learning environments make complex topics tangible and create an event experience that goes beyond traditional teaching formats. The event atmosphere remains hands-on: experiment, design, and explore the possibilities of immersive media.

Who is the Workshop Suitable For?

The offering is aimed at educators and pedagogical staff. A prior qualification for using VR headsets is beneficial but not a requirement for participation. This makes the event suitable for both initial steps in virtual reality and for deepening existing media competence.

Well Accessible and Equipped for All

KOMEZ – Municipal Media Center Cologne features an accessible entrance, a wheelchair-accessible elevator, and fully accessible restrooms. Designated disabled parking spaces are available. Hearing loops or other aids are also provided for hearing-impaired and deaf individuals.

Conclusion: Design Digital Learning Worlds with Your Own Ideas

The free workshop provides practical insights into VR headsets, 3D worlds, and 360-degree films. Those who wish to actively shape digital education and develop new content for lessons or educational offerings will experience an afternoon at KOMEZ with concrete practical relevance. Registration is done via the registration form of the City of Cologne or by phone.
