Discover Digital Art: Digital Drawing Workshop in Kalk
On Saturday, November 14, 2026, the Kalk district library will become a creative digital studio. In the Digital Drawing Workshop, children aged 7 to 12 will learn the basics of the TagTool app and develop their own digital drawings and collages.
Get Creative with TagTool
The workshop combines drawing, animation, and projection. Participants will create their own digital motifs and experience how individual images turn into vibrant visual ideas. The event planning focuses on a playful approach to digital art and practical experiences with modern creative technology.
Experience Drawings on the Glass Wall
A special highlight is the projection of participants' own drawings and collages on the library's glass wall. This transforms personal designs into a shared event experience that visibly alters the space and creatively shapes the audience's mood.
Creative Offering for Young Visitors
The organization by the Cologne City Library provides an accessible entry point to digital drawing. The workshop is aimed at young enthusiasts who want to combine design, technology, and collaborative experimentation. Professional guidance, an open event atmosphere, and direct interaction with TagTool make the offering particularly engaging.
Conclusion
The Digital Drawing Workshop offers young guests a diverse event experience at the intersection of art, technology, and library space. Those wishing to try out their own ideas digitally and then experience them in large format on a glass wall will find an inspiring introduction to the world of visual design in Kalk.
