Exciting stories and small experiments for curious children
During STEM Storytime at the Sülz district library, picture books are combined with playful discovery. Children aged 4 to 8 dive into the world of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology and experience a delightful family event with storytelling, crafting, and experimenting.
Reading, marveling, and trying it out yourself
A child-friendly story opens the door to exciting questions: How does something work? Why does that happen? And what can be discovered on their own? After the reading time, the content is practically explored. Through crafting and experimenting, children gather their own learning experiences and develop a joy for curiosity, observation, and creative thinking.
Age-appropriate learning fun in the library
The offer is targeted at children aged 4 to 8 years, making it suitable for preschool and elementary school children. The combination of stories and practical activities supports language development, concentration, imagination, and first scientific thinking. Parents enjoy a calm, stimulating time filled with children's laughter, wonder, and a joy of discovery together with their children.
Family-friendly and easily accessible
The event takes place at the Sülz district library on Wichterichstraße 1. The venue has a passenger elevator, making it accessible for those with mobility challenges. The light rail line 18 and bus line 131 stop at the Sülzburgstraße station.
