Reading fun and creative adventures for second graders in Cologne-Sülz
When stories come to life, a special family experience begins: In the Reading Club of the Sülz Community Library, second graders discover the joy of reading together. Between exciting book worlds, curious questions, and children's laughter, an inspiring time unfolds.
Reading, telling, and marveling together
The children read various books, talk about the characters, and exchange their thoughts on the stories. They experience how differently a plot can be understood and imagined. The age-appropriate group strengthens language skills, imagination, and the joy of learning together.
Creativity is part of it
The Reading Club combines reading with writing, painting, and crafting. The children develop their own ideas, continue stories, and express their impressions creatively. These child-friendly activities promote expressiveness, concentration, and self-confidence as important building blocks of child development.
A regular meeting place for little reading heroes
The Reading Club takes place regularly on Thursdays outside the school holidays for over half a year. A one-time registration is valid for the entire period. This creates a familiar community where children choose books, gather learning experiences, and deepen their love for reading step by step.
Well accessible and family-friendly
The Sülz Community Library is located at Wichterichstraße 1. It can be reached, among others, by tram line 18 and bus line 131 to the Sülzburgstraße stop. An elevator ensures barrier-free access.
Conclusion: A strong family experience around books
The Reading Club gives second graders time for stories, creativity, and real encounters. Children discover new books, develop their own ideas, and experience how much learning fun a joint reading circle can hold. Sign up now and experience the next little reading adventures in Cologne-Sülz.
