Spooky Family Time at the Halloween Action Day in Cologne-Mülheim
When the Mülheim district library transforms into a creepy adventure world, a special family experience begins: At the Halloween Action Day on Friday, October 30, 2026, children and adults together discover exciting interactive stations, a specially designed Halloween cave, and atmospheric surprises.
Halloween to Participate and Marvel
From 12 PM to 6 PM, Halloween will be practically experienceable in the library. Families are welcome to come in costumes and become active at various stations. The diverse offerings appeal to curiosity, imagination, and joint exploration. Children’s laughter, creative impressions, and a bit of cozy spookiness make the action day a child-friendly learning experience.
Spooky Atmosphere in the Halloween Cave
A special highlight is the specially designed Halloween cave. There, young visitors experience an imaginative backdrop that combines excitement and wonder. The protected environment of the library provides families with an easily accessible place for quality time together and a relaxed Halloween experience.
Ages Appropriate Fun for the Whole Family
The open event format is aimed at the whole family. By participating, children playfully strengthen their imagination, expression, and sense of community. The stations invite them to contribute their own ideas and learn about Halloween in a creative way. Parents accompany their children directly and maintain supervision.
Free Entry and No Registration Required
Participation is free of charge. Registration is not required, allowing families to spontaneously drop by and flexibly integrate the action day into their daily schedule. There will also be a little sweet treat: sweets and sour treats are part of the Halloween experience.

The Mülheim district library is located at Wiener Platz and can be reached by city train lines 4, 13, and 18 as well as bus lines 151, 152, 153, 159, and 190. The Mülheim Wiener Platz stop is located near the event venue.
