Game Testers in Cologne-Kalk: Discover new games together

Curious children and teenagers experience a special family event around digital gaming at the district library Kalk. At the game testers, current games are tried out, evaluated collectively, and discovered with lots of children's laughter.

Gaming with curiosity and learning fun

Starting at 16:30, teenagers aged 12 and over test games on the console or PC. It's not just about having fun: participants share their impressions, pay attention to content, and develop a sense of which games are suitable for different age groups.

Media pedagogically accompanied

Media educator Patrick accompanies the group and listens attentively. The experiences of the game testers flow into the NRW game guide. This creates a child-friendly and pedagogically sound orientation for families who want to select digital games safely and consciously.

Aging appropriate, communal, and safe

The offer is age-appropriate: The group for children from 6 years meets from 15:00 to 16:30, teenagers from 12 years from 16:30 to 18:00. The focus is on trying out together, fair communication, media competence, and a safe learning experience in the library.
