Do MI(N)T!: Great Aha Moments for Little Researchers in Cologne

Do MI(N)T! – exciting experiments for curious children

When children marvel, observe, and try things out for themselves, learning becomes a true family experience. At Do MI(N)T!, young visitors discover exciting experiments at the Ehrenfeld district library and experience the joy in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology.

Research, marvel, and discover

At the center are child-friendly experiments that spark curiosity and invite participation. Children can ask questions, look closely, and develop their own hypotheses. Thus, the event combines shared children's laughter with an age-appropriate learning experience.

Fun learning at the district library

The Ehrenfeld district library offers space for reading, learning, exchanging ideas, and discovering. Families find not only media there but also events related to books, experiments, and new technologies. Do MI(N)T! fits into this family-friendly educational offering and makes scientific topics playful and experiential.

Quality time with educational value

Experiments help children recognize connections, find language for observations, and explore solutions. The event thus combines joy, wonder, and curiosity with important impulses for child development. Parents experience quality time together as their children actively research and contribute their own ideas.

Free entry and easily accessible

Do MI(N)T! takes place on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Ehrenfeld district library. Admission is free. The library is located at Subbelrather Straße 247-249 in Cologne-Ehrenfeld. The venue is accessible for wheelchair users; the restrooms are also barrier-free.
