Figurative Painting by Iwona Piek at the District Town Hall Porz
From November 6 to December 5, 2026, the District Town Hall Porz will present the art exhibition Iwona Piek – Figurative Painting. The exhibition focuses on the artistic engagement with the human figure and offers visitors an in-depth access to contemporary painting.
An Artistic Experience between Figure and Expression
Figurative painting directs the gaze towards body, posture, face, and atmosphere. The core is the examination of the works: forms, color areas, and painterly gestures condense into images that engage perception and imagination alike. The exhibition atmosphere at the District Town Hall Porz invites visitors to ponder individual works in peace.
Painting as Aesthetic Experience
Figurative art connects recognizable motifs with individual interpretation. Between representationality and painterly freedom, a tension field emerges where color, composition, and spatial effect develop an independent language. The artistic experience thus opens different perspectives on human presence, expression, and perception.
Opening and Exhibition Period
The opening takes place on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 7 PM. The exhibition is open until Saturday, December 5, 2026. Visiting hours are Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM. The exhibition is closed on Sundays and public holidays. Admission is free.
Conclusion: Discover Figurative Art Live
