Bläck Fööss celebrate Cologne: Cologne live concert in the Historical Town Hall

Bläck Fööss celebrate Kölsch with heart and soul in the Historical Town Hall

On the Day of the Cologne Language, one of the most influential bands in the history of Cologne music will take the stage at the Historical Town Hall on September 27, 2026. Bläck Fööss will bring their timeless classics and new songs to the Piazzetta and make the Cologne language an experiential musical feeling.

Cologne classics between neighborhoods, Rhine, and togetherness

For more than five decades, Bläck Fööss have been telling stories in their songs about the people, the neighborhoods, the Rhine, and the special solidarity of the cathedral city. Their music combines catchy melodies with relatable lyrics and a distinctive stage performance that brings generations together.

Live atmosphere with sing-along moments

A special concert atmosphere develops in the Historical Town Hall: familiar refrains meet warm acoustics, bright faces, and singing together in Kölsch. The audience's mood ranges from swaying along to exuberantly celebrating – a concert experience that directly connects the feeling of home with live music.

Cologne dialect as a living cultural heritage

The performance is part of an action day that makes the Cologne language and culture visible and audible throughout Cologne. Bläck Fööss exemplify a music that does not place dialect in a museum but keeps it alive with modern band energy, clear orchestration, and direct engagement.

Free admission in the Historical Town Hall

The performance starts on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 18:15 in the Historical Town Hall/Piazzetta in Cologne. Admission is free. Those who want to experience Bläck Fööss live and celebrate the Cologne language with others will find a memorable evening full of memories, new songs, and genuine Cologne connection.
