BlöZinger brings laughter to Cologne: KopfKino cabaret with pace, timing, and imagination

When a whole universe emerges from just a few props, BlöZinger is not far away. On September 25, 2026, the Austrian cabaret duo Robert Blöchl and Roland Penzinger will transform the Chorweiler Community Center into a stage for grand images, quirky figures, and finely set punchlines.

Great cinema without a screen

The program The Goal Is in the Way represents that rare laughing experience where the audience does not only listen but thinks along, empathizes, and applauds internally with every role change. BlöZinger are considered the inventors of KopfKino cabaret: precise observation, strong stage presence, and a play with pace that catches every audience reaction immediately.

A duo that turns everyday chaos into stage magic

Robert Blöchl and Roland Penzinger work with acting finesse, clear character portrayal, and a dose of humor that transforms even dry situations into a lively comedy atmosphere. This blend of cabaret, stand-up proximity, and quirky theater energy makes the evening so appealing for fans of intelligent entertainment.

Stage presence with brains and impact

The strength of BlöZinger lies in their timing. No word seems random, no movement remains pale. The duo builds tension, resolves it into punchlines, and draws the audience into their cosmos with a lightness that appears playful on the outside and highly precise on the inside. Those who love cabaret with narrative depth and lively character work will find just the right format here.

Awards, experience, and scene resonance

BlöZinger have been awarded multiple times, including the Austrian Cabaret Prize, the German Small Arts Prize, and the Stuttgart Besen 2026. These successes show: there is no coincidence on stage, but a well-rehearsed duo with experience, authority, and a keen sense of humor that resonates.

What the audience can expect
