An Imaginative Children's Opera for Families and Children Aged Six and Older

With “The King Gives Away Something”, an imaginative children's opera by Philipp Matthias Kaufmann is on the program in Cologne. The family performance is aimed at children aged six and older and invites young viewers to explore the world of music theater.

The story at the center piques curiosity with its title: A king gives something away. What exactly this entails and what twists the plot holds can be discovered at the performance in the Children's Opera Cologne. The production combines a child-friendly narrative with the special atmosphere of an opera performance.

Family Performance at the Children's Opera Cologne

The date is suitable for families who want to experience culture together. Children aged six and older can gain initial or additional experiences with opera. A family performance provides space to follow the stage event collectively and later discuss the story, characters, and music.

The Children's Opera Cologne is the designated venue. Since the performance takes place in an opera house or children's opera, it is an indoor event. Thus, visiting is possible regardless of the weather. Exact details regarding the start, entrance fees, available tickets, and local offerings are not included in the provided information.
